Job Description
Arista is seeking a candidate to perform lab development within our cutting-edge training platform.
Responsibilities:
- Create custom front and back-end interfaces for strategic training lab environments in Arista’s largest customers.
- Create custom interfaces for our Arista Academy products.
- Maintain lab documentation and work with course directors to build new topologies and guides.
- Drive automation within Arista’s innovative training and exam platform.
- Maintain topologies and develop automation tools to build and improve the lab environments.
- Provide technical support for training products within Arista, our partners, customers, and interface with our training partners’ lab teams.
- Self-Starter and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Work with internal software developers and code developers as well as our customer-facing teams.
- Maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners, and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 -5 years of networking experience (CCNP or equivalent), systems administration, or consulting experience with a focus on development.
- Excellent customer service, and written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical documentation.
- Background in Linux, Unix, and Python.
- An understanding of markdown and restructured Text.
- Familiarity with Docker.
Preferred;
- Familiarity with GCP and AWS
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- EST or CST timezone
