Position: Lab Assistant
Location: Fully Onsite; Middleton, WI
Shift: Full-Time; Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm CT

Discover Impactful Work:
Performs assigned tasks such as gathering, washing, drying, and restocking glassware in a highly regulated environment. Performs daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Work is performed in a clinical/GMP environment.
A day in the Life:
- Perform any or all Glassware Washing functions to include oversight and performance of a variety of complex standard tasks and daily tasks in support of the Glassware Washing department.
- Assists/fulfills lab requests for glassware via email/RAM requests.
- Restocks lab cabinets with properly washed/inspected glassware.
- Maintains glass wash units to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintains 5S within glass washrooms.
- Assists with monthly glassware inventory.
- Provides daily metrics and other required departmental statistics.
- Delivery/pickup of glassware across campus, when required.
- Solution/HPLC waste dumping throughout campus.
- Providing green tagging duties on equipment throughout campus.
- Performs work assignments accurately and in a timely and safe manner.
Keys to Success:
Education
- High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Technical positions may require a certificate
Experience
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Understanding of GLP/GCP
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong detail orientation
- Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to read, identify, and transcribe details accurately
