About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Utility team member to join our Operations department. This full-time, hourly position is an integral part of our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in our kitchen environment.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work surfaces to maintain a hygienic workspace.
• Wash and organize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors and disposing of garbage.
• Support kitchen staff by restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen area is well-organized.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Proficiency in English to follow instructions effectively and ensure clear communication.
