Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week).
The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Bosch's presence within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) channel, specifically by managing and expanding relationships with National Accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Growth: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets, secure incremental line listings, and drive competitive de-listings within assigned National Accounts. Foster revenue growth through a mix of retention strategies and new account acquisitions.
- Channel Management and Development: Oversee and develop Key Account Managers and Regional Rep Agencies, ensuring effective go-to-market execution. Communicate clear strategies and actionable tasks to drive demand through the distribution channel, translating high-level objectives into field activities.
- Leadership and Relationship Building: Act as the primary liaison between field sales, agencies, corporate leadership, and National Account teams. Build productive working relationships at all levels with key corporate customers and internal stakeholders, positioning Bosch as a trusted business partner in the MRO space.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Regularly analyze customer-specific data, market trends, and competitive insights to shape and refine sales strategies. Accurately forecast monthly demand and financial revenue, ensuring strategic alignment and proactive resource planning.
- Program Execution: Lead line reviews, promotional activities, and targeted campaigns to gain new product listings and achieve sales objectives. Coordinate closely with marketing and field teams to ensure seamless execution of all initiatives.
- Resource Optimization: Work cross-functionally to optimize the deployment of resources, ensuring that all account goals are met. Guide the rep agencies in executing Bosch’s customer strategies effectively, balancing corporate priorities with local needs.
This role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a deep understanding of the MRO channel. The successful candidate will be adept at translating corporate strategy into actionable field activities, creating value through both top-down management and on-the-ground engagement.
Qualifications
We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, energetic, highly professional team player with a track record for building key customer relationships and driving profitable growth in the MRO Channel. The individual that will succeed in this role will have excellent communication skills, creativity and a data-driven approach to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience
