The Position: We are looking for a Junior Recruiter, who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The Junior Recruiter is responsible for ensuring McKinley is able to fulfill its mission by proactively recruiting the most qualified potential team members whose values are aligned with the organization's mission, vision and values in the quickest amount of time. This role is critical to ensure professional service delivery to all children and families referred to McKinley.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we’re offering is $18.00- $22.00 hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (in progress ok) or related experience 0-3+ years in a similar role Coordinator/Sourcer/Jr. Recruiter
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Can problem-solve and take initiative
  • Familiarity with social media, and technical aptitude to learn various recruiting and HR platforms
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • ATS experience a plus
  • Team player
  • Microsoft Office, Google Suite
  • General Office Skills
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
  • Ability to commute to various sites
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages
  • Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functions
  • DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
  • Insurability under Corporate Automobile Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process for all requisitions, including posting, sourcing, screening, initial interviewing, debriefing, and closing candidates.
  • Deliver the best possible candidate experience including prompt replies to scheduling requests
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify critical staffing needs
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
  • Pre-screening candidates for interviews
  • Daily phone calls to applicants and setting up interviews
  • Handling phones and forwarding calls
  • Managing calendars and scheduling appointments
  • Mastering recruiting and sales techniques
  • Learning and maintaining updates on our Applicant Tracking System
  • Completing and analyzing recruiting reports
  • All other duties as assigned
