Junior QA Tester

As a Junior QA Tester in our Technical Support team, you will be responsible for investigating and reproducing client-reported issues, validating fixes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software products. You’ll collaborate closely with support engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure timely and high-quality resolutions. This role offers hands-on experience with the Microsoft tech stack and exposure to real-world client environments.

• Analyze and reproduce client-reported incidents in test environments.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on Verisk Specialty products.
• Collaborate with support and development teams to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
• Document test cases, results, and incident findings clearly and accurately.
• Assist in maintaining and improving QA processes and tools.
• Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to knowledge base articles.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies and software testing principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET, Azure).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced support environment.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical QA role.
