Junior Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Description

RESPEC, a nationally recognized engineering consulting company is seeking a talented and energetic water/wastewater engineer that will reside in the Colorado Springs or Denver, Colorado area. This position is a hands-on position in a successful and continually growing company.  

Qualifications

• A bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Approximately 2 to 8 years of experience related to water and wastewater facilities, including pumping systems, water and wastewater treatment, collection and distribution systems, and other water-resources related facilities
• Posses a Engineer-In-Training certification or Professional Engineering License.

Additional qualifications include the following:

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic engineering principles
• Understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure
• Design plans and specifications production experience
• Software knowledge (e.g., Excel, Word, GIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D). 

Additional Information

Compensation: Typical salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000. Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

Part-time and full-time positions available in Denver and Colorado Springs area.
