Westnet is looking for a Junior Logistics Coordinator having the following accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor international logistics/operations, regarding shipping Containers or Full trucks from origin to destination 
  • Ensure all means of transport (road, sea, air & rail) are as cost effective as possible and in line with Commercial Team requirements and budget
  • Liaise and coordinates with Shipping Lines, for the timely and IFOT dispatch of ordered products
  • Handle all required shipping documents (Bill of Ladings, Packing Lists, Delivery Orders, Custom and Inspection Certificates)
  • Support in assigned supply chain tasks
 Requirements
  • University degree in Shipping, Economics, Business Administration or a related quantitative discipline  
  • Master’s degree in Logistics, Shipping, MBA or Economics, would be considered a plus 
  • 1-2 years of experience in Shipping Line, Forwarding Company, Supply Chain department, and/or in the procurement of export/import Containers 
  • Fluent both in Greek and English (oral & written) 
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office and experience with ERP software 
  • Knowledge of SAP modules related to Supply Chain/Operations will be considered as a plus 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Team player, focused on detail, committed to results, adhere to strict deadlines
