We are currently seeking a Junior Logistics Analyst to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
Junior Logistics Analyst
NTT DATA has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Logistics Analyst to provide logistics management program support in Washington, DC. You will provide support to the Undersea Defensive Warfare Systems Program Office (PMS 415) for counter-measure defense systems.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and support internal and external meetings and briefings.
- Interface between Program Office and various stakeholders and respond to internal and external inquiries and to identify and resolve program issues and concerns related to all aspects of logistics (spare parts, maintenance, training, supply support etc).
- Develop organizational systems and tracking methods for records, reports and agendas.
- Monitor and maintain government databases.
- Support the development of briefings, white papers, reports, assessments, etc through research, document reviews, and staff coordination.
- Support meetings, action item tracking as well as documentation reviews for the various PMS415 programs and their ILS requirements.
- Support the Product Support Manager (PSM) for oversight management of support functions required to field and maintain operational capability of major torpedo weapon systems, subsystems, and components.
- Assist in conducting Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) by reviewing technical documentation, validating hardware against design specifications, and ensuring configuration consistency to support system integrity and fleet operational readiness.
- Support configuration management by maintaining accurate product data within iPDM systems, ensuring alignment across engineering, logistics, and technical documentation.
- Apply configuration management principles to track and control system changes, maintain baseline integrity, and ensure consistency across technical documentation and product lifecycle data. (or something like this, I think configuration management should somehow be included)
- Support the development and review of Baseline Assessment Memorandums (BAMs) by validating configuration data, documenting system baselines, and ensuring alignment with program requirements and audit findings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with logistics analysis and program support.
- Active Secret DoD Clearance is required.
- High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
Desired Education and Experience:
- Working knowledge of the Twelve Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements in the DoD Product Support Manager’s (PSM) Guidebook.
- Experience supporting a NAVSEA Program Office in the area of logistics support.
- Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Excellent communications and analytical skills.
Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week.
Travel: 10%.
