ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to join our team in Stennis, MS. 

  
In this role you will create work packages tied to milestones, identify dependencies, and schedule work. You will ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time; as well as track and report on project milestones and deliverables.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Define scope, objectives and deliverables within the network, security and cloud operations environment  
  • Assist in identifying and assessing risks related to network, security, and cloud operations; Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies; Monitor risks throughout the project.  
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize operations tasks and engineering projects; Provide routinely scheduled reports to senior managers on task and project performance  
  • Work closely with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all tasks and projects; Provide updates on network, security and cloud operation policies, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO team  
  • Coordination of procurement, installation and maintenance of network, security, and cloud systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements  
  • Support the development of documentation on policies, SOPs, and Best Practices; Provide status updates and other project information and options as requested. Manage change requests related to network, security, and cloud operations;  
  • Assess the impact of changes on the project; Utilizing Change Control Boards (CCBs) to manage and control any project-related changes, ensuring effective and efficient project delivery. Define and monitor project quality standards; Conduct quality control checks  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 1+ year of experience as a Technical Project Manager and a Bachelor's degree
