About the role
AG Consulting Partners is looking for a proactive and adaptable Junior HR Recruitment Coordinator to help effectively support various aspects of the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources functions at the firm.
In the initial six months as the Junior HR Recruitment Coordinator at AG Consulting Partners, a standard day could encompass the following:
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-term growth of the company
- Build strong, impactful relationships and help elevate AG Consulting Partners' employment brand to a highly competitive level
- Identify approaches to enhance candidate experience throughout hiring plans
- Provide proactive reporting of key metrics and insights to drive decisions and improve processes
- Serve as the contact person for questions from candidates
- Send correspondence for recruitment and follow-up regarding interviews
- Process position requisitions and process all applications, resumes, and internal job postings
- Utilize an applicant tracking system to track applicants and statistics
- Initiate background checks for new and existing employees
- Prepare employee expense reports for payroll processing
- Assist in answering employee questions
- Help employees navigate internal company resources
- Provide operational support for the company office space
After the first six months as the Junior HR Recruitment Coordinator for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day may also involve the following:
- Lead candidate intake and discovery calls and assist them with the job search process
- Partner with hiring managers to provide consultation and recruiting strategies to ensure a timely and effective hiring process that exceeds client expectations and elevates the candidate experience
- Use a variety of standard and specialized sourcing techniques to obtain a pool of well-qualified candidates
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and senior leadership by demonstrating an understanding of their business objectives and challenges
- Develop talent acquisition strategies to ensure overriding company business objectives and goals are met
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the entire interview lifecycle from initial contact to start date
- Perform necessary candidate tracking activity in the Applicant Tracking System and other miscellaneous systematic activities as needed
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Maintain and update a prospective candidate pipeline by cold calling/prospecting calls
- Assist in onboarding of new employees
- Coordinate the execution and report on the results of the annual employee engagement survey

You have:
- 1+ years experience recruiting for technical and/or non-technical profiles in an agency or corporate setting
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience sourcing and closing candidates ranging from entry-level to senior management positions
- Ability to work independently but also be a strong effective team player
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other relevant recruitment technologies
- Ability and confidence to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions
