PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team in support of our government customer, the NAVAIR Comptroller, in Patuxent River, MD. Key Responsibilities:Performs tasks related to operations in support of the NAVAIR Comptroller Accounting Department including:- Provide support to business process and accounting solutions for the accounting department.
- Respond to inquiries, assist in resolving accounting discrepancies, and prepare supporting documentation.
- Apply standard operating procedures and assist in obtaining necessary information to support accounting record reconciliation processes.
- Provide support for period end close to include Month End Close and Year End Close activities.
- Prepare and validate Journal Vouchers and create Field Level Journal Voucher (FLJV) packages.
- Must have three (3) years of work experience to include finance or accounting
- Secret Clearnce
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- NAWCAD/NAVAIR specific experience
- NAVY ERP experience / skill
- AS/AA degree
- High School Diploma/GED with at least four (4) additional years of related experience
