BMS Evaluation Engineer

For its growing BMS Group, Analog Devices is seeking an Evaluation Engineer for our Colorado Springs, Colorado (USA) location. This group develops ultra-high performance instrumentation ICs to supervise High Voltage Battery Stacks in Electrical Vehicles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles, and Energy Storage Systems. Our products combine high measurement accuracy with high robustness and solid functional safety, meeting the highest safety standards without losing sight of ease of use.

Job Responsibilities

As Evaluation Engineer you will:

• Contribute to the post-silicon validation of integrated circuits
• Develop laboratory hardware/software solutions to evaluate integrated circuits
• Perform and document high accuracy analog measurements
• Prepare validation reports; review validation results with design and applications teams
• Support silicon debug
• Develop requirement-based validation plan and strategy together with the design team

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

•     Familiar with analog laboratory measurement instruments like Voltmeter, Oscilloscope, etc.

•     Programming experience with C#, Python, LabVIEW, or Matlab for instrument control and data analysis

•     Experience in PCB design and layout using industry standard tools

•     Have a solid work ethic and enthusiastic approach to new learnings along with an inquisitive mind

•     Like to investigate problems and develop systematic strategies to solve them

•     Like to work in a team of peers towards a common goal

•     Have good English communication skills
