Junior / Early Career Project Manager – Autonomous Mining Deployments

About the Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be at the center of Pronto’s most critical onsite deployment efforts. You’ll coordinate complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives to bring our autonomous systems to life in mining environments. This is a hands-on role requiring meticulous planning, nimble execution, and seamless collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute complex onsite deployments of Pronto’s autonomous technology at customer mining sites.
• Serve as the primary coordination point across hardware, software, operations, and robotics engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Monitor project risks and issues, escalate roadblocks, and drive fast-paced problem-solving in dynamic conditions.
• Communicate with customers to understand their deployment needs and ensure their goals are met or exceeded.
• Use Agile methodologies to drive iteration, velocity, and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle. Use waterfall methodologies in critical path items and external communications.
• Balance competing priorities and shifting conditions with focus and flexibility.
• Travel to deployment sites as needed to scope, support, and manage onsite execution.

Requirements

• 0–4 years of experience in project management, technical program coordination, or related roles.
• Proven ability of organizing complex, cross-functional projects—especially with hardware/software components.
• Experience working in or alongside high performing engineering teams.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills—able to manage multiple moving parts and shifting priorities with clarity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and alignment across technical and operational stakeholders.
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments, ambiguity, and rapid pivots.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or mining operations.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Jira, or similar.
• Engineering, operations, or technical background a plus.
