The Cloud Solutions Engineer 2 is responsible for supporting the development and execution of cloud implementation strategies within the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role is designed for early career professionals and is central to the ongoing modernization of critical business processes, including Medicaid, leveraging cloud technologies to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness as the organization grows.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, integrating, maintaining, and supporting cloud architectures in accordance with the organization’s cloud strategy, with an emphasis on transforming legacy Medicaid systems for improved business agility and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to identify optimal solutions that facilitate real-time and scalable data access for growing data volumes and increased demands for speed, accuracy, and insight.
- Work with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for cloud-based products, services, and applications, contributing to the modernization of legacy processes into reliable and scalable platforms.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of cloud management platforms, recommending enhancements to maintain system stability and ensure effective analytics and financial reporting.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to make decisions that align with departmental and organizational objectives, helping to absorb expanding business in the Medicaid sector and maintain competitiveness.
- Follow established guidelines and procedures while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in systems analysis, SQL and Python database application programming, or equivalent academic/internship experience.
- Demonstrated interest in cloud technologies, scalable data platforms, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to support modernization and business growth.
- Commitment to supporting the organization’s investment in data platform modernization for Medicaid and other business-critical functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Internship or coursework related to cloud computing, data engineering, or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with cloud migration, scalable data platforms, or modernization of legacy systems.
