Our highly respected precision metal stamping company is seeking a Junior Accountant who will assist in the preparation of financial statements, maintain accurate financial records, and support day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and evaluate status of existing projects. 
• Enter all new and existing project detail into new ERP maintain all existing data.
• Understand internal management requirements for project accounting and related accounting process.
• Understand new ERP system capabilities and identify gaps to management expectations.
• Prepare and enter journal entries as required.
• Evaluate status of projects versus Budget and forecast.
• Other functions and/or assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting/finance. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Plex) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
