Our highly respected precision metal stamping company is seeking a Junior Accountant who will assist in the preparation of financial statements, maintain accurate financial records, and support day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of accounting principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and evaluate status of existing projects.
- Enter all new and existing project detail into new ERP maintain all existing data.
- Understand internal management requirements for project accounting and related accounting process.
- Understand new ERP system capabilities and identify gaps to management expectations.
- Prepare and enter journal entries as required.
- Evaluate status of projects versus Budget and forecast.
- Other functions and/or assignments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in accounting/finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Plex) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
