Java Software Engineer

Mindex’s Software Development division is the go-to software developer for enterprise organizations looking to engage teams of skilled technical resources to help them plan, management, requirements planning, design, architecture, development, testing, and support navigate, and execute through the full software product lifecycle, including project.

As a member of one of our agile delivery teams, you will analyze, design, program, test, and implement a new software product, features, and functionality in an Angular or React, Java, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, MongoDB, and Openshift environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Understands customer requirements; develops tasks to accurately reflect those requirements 
• Designs and develops technical software solutions
• Writes and performs testing, assists in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit
• Collaborates cross-functionally with team members and customers to ensure effective and efficient implementation of solutions 
• Documents each aspect of a systems application
• Provides ongoing support and enhancements for new and existing systems and platforms 
• Curiosity to learn and advance relevant technical knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two - three years of software development experience in Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript

• Three - five years of software development experience in Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, AngularJS, and Python
• Three - five years of experience in test automation
• Experience with enterprise development in an Agile environment
• Experience with persistent data storage Oracle,SQL Server, or MongoDB
• Experience with SOAP and/or REST web services
• Experience with agile project tracking software, like Jira
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
