Java Full Stack Engineer

Required Experience:

• 9 - 12 years of experience in Java Full Stack role is required

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for managing Autosys and other scheduling technologies
• The candidate will be responsible for managing AWS cloud technologies and participating in migration projects from on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud infrastructure
• The candidate will be responsible for Oracle performance tuning and writing optimal code to achieve long-term stable results
• The candidate will be responsible for designing stable, reliable, and effective code from a long-term standpoint
• The candidate should be able to work with big data technologies, especially Databricks implemented in AWS Cloud infrastructure
• The candidate must drive initiatives in database and application development
• The candidate will be responsible for working on low-latency Java applications
• The candidate will collaborate closely with product management, QA and other development team members

Essential Skills:

• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Oracle and Micro-services is required
• Experience in Java J2EE/Java EE, JavaScript frameworks such as React JS are required
• Experience in code, design reviews, scrum-style team meetings and retrospectives are required
• Experience in deployment, automation, management and maintenance of cloud-based production systems is required
• Experience in automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications and provisioning infrastructure is required
• Experience in Database (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL) development is required
• Experience in leading a team of engineers is required
• Experience in application development with non-cloud infrastructure setup and having worked in cloud migration efforts is highly preferable
• Experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Tomcat or another J2EE application server is required
• Experience in working with source code tools such as Clear case, GitHub and Cloud is required
• A background in Java/Unix and experience in developing UI design requirements is required
• Experience in data models, defining star and snowflake schemas on various banking use cases is required
• Experience in a relational database (Oracle), database schemas, packages, procedures and triggers are required
• Experience in Oracle SQL and Pl/SQL programming is required
• Good experience in continuous integration, building processes, test automation and deployment is required
• Experience in the investment banking industry is required
• Strong collaboration skills are required

Good to have Skills:

• Familiarity and experience with any queue-based implementation are advantageous
• Proficiency in AngularJS and NoSQL databases like MongoDB is beneficial
• Experience with scripting languages such as Unix and Python is preferred

Essential Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
