Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a data minded Java Developer who is excited about solving national security related data problems. This position involves Java programming, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics from a multitude of sources.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop code for multiple microservice frameworks
- Leverage Amazon Web Services to build scalable data infrastructure
- Design and build data services for consumption by clients and other services
- Hybrid availability (50% onsite / 50% remote)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of experience in software/system development with Java
- 2 years of experience with:
- Junit testing framework
- Agile Development
- Relational database systems
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- AWS technologies (S3, SQS, SNS, SWF, Lambda)
- PostgreSQL
- Jenkins
- Docker Containers
- Python
- ReactJS
- Spring Boot
- REST Paradigm or gRPC Framework
- Microservice architecture
- Messaging queue concepts
- Containerization
- Continuous Integration
Security Clearance:
- Active TS clearance required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $90,700 - $170,200
Colorado: $90,700 - $147,100
New York: $83,900 - $170,200
Washington: $96,600 - $156,600
