Janitor III

A Janitor III job in Paterson, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE) based out of our Columbia Crest Winery facility. This role will be cleaning and sanitizing offices, production areas, laboratories, restrooms and common areas as well as appointed out-buildings. Among other duties as assigned, the Janitor III will ensure all safety standards are met in compliance with Federal, State and company policies. This is a full time hourly position.��

Janitor III job responsibilities include: 

• Dusting, vacuuming carpeted area
• Wash all drinking fountains with disinfectant
• Dust mop and mop uncarpeted areas
• Trash removal, restocking of paper towel and soap dispensers
• Cleaning kitchens, start dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, retail shop and laboratories.
• Keep janitor closet neat and orderly.
• Traveling to and from difference facilities as needed.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning for events, meetings, or special functions.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks periodically, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or scrubbing hard-to-reach areas.
• Recording and notifying safety personnel of hazards

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years.
• Able to read, write speak and understand English. 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Physical ability to operate floor scrubber, buffers floor mops, sweeping and dusting with brooms and feather dusters. 
• Knowledge of cleaners and how to use them
• Prior cleaning experience
• Available to work Saturdays mornings.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation:  

$18.21/hr.- $23.67/hr. based upon relevant experience.
