POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for information technology (IT) and technical positions within the Corporate Services Division of Holiday Inn Club Vacations. The IT & Technical Recruiter will develop and manage the sourcing, recruitment, selection and retention of top talent to include all aspects of the recruitment process. They will be responsible to provide the necessary volume of top tier candidates to fulfill the hiring needs of the Company. The IT & Technical Recruiter is also responsible for establishing effective working relationships with functional business leaders and hiring managers through effective communication, strategic partnerships, and consistently high execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Collaborate with relevant company teams and third-party vendors to craft an effective talent acquisition pipeline. Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers across the organization to facilitate results.
- Leverage various sourcing channels (online media, employee referrals, etc.) and methods to develop a proactive and steady pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for open roles, repetitively hired roles, niche roles, and key job families and skillsets. Network with external sources to continually enhance relationships, as well as create and maintain the company’s presence in the market.
- Build partnerships with local recruiting sources, assist with job postings, advertisements, utilize social media and web resources to search for qualified candidates, assist in planning and coordinating hiring events.
- Develop proactive recruiting practices by networking and sourcing through social media channels and local networking channels, ensuring diversity of talent in our pipelines for IT & Technical roles.
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience required.
- Prior full-cycle IT and/or technical recruiting experience required, preferably in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university required.
- Expert understanding of technical terms; Must have the ability to discuss candidate technical capabilities and experience with hiring leaders.
- Proficiency with Boolean and sourcing techniques utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, and Indeed
- Aptitude for finding creative sourcing strategies for unique or hard to fill roles
- Ability to build partnerships with the leadership team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is deadline-driven.
- Strong work ethic, high energy level, and positive attitude.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Ability to think creatively to identify and mine untapped sourcing channels.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple job openings and manage multiple searches under tight timelines.
- Demonstrate high energy, self-motivation, and initiative to achieve performance goals.
- Must be familiar with EEO and AA programs, policies and procedures.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and Social Media marketing.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% based on business needs.
- Knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws. Self-directed and independent but works as a team player.
