The ITO Strategy, Financial & Supplier Management department serves a central role within ITO whose focus is to orchestrate ITO-wide strategic initiatives, provide financial business intelligence and drive financial operational improvements. The team is accountable for administering ITO’s multi-year sourcing strategies, overseeing ITO’s global budget and providing costs transparency to the rest of the Ford Enterprise on their infrastructure consumption costs.
ITO's Sourcing Strategy is an initiative to transform and invest in its technology talent to accelerate Ford's transformation to a software focused (products and platform) and customer-obsessed company and to effectively structure its services and products to meet availability, reliability, and performance goals while reducing risk, technical debt and improving overall cost profile.
As the ITO Strategy Product Manager, you will manage and drive sourcing strategy projects and associated workstreams and assist with implementing and automating financial operational improvements.
What you’ll be able to do:
- Set up and maintain program and project level deliverables in Rally
- Develop critical milestone plans and proactively manage issues and risks
- Create periodic status reports and facilitate governance meetings
- Develop program dashboards and automate associated data analysis processes
- Perform analyses of plans to determine cost implications, identify opportunities and risks to program commitments
- Identify opportunities to drive process simplification and automation
- Update monthly Bowler metrics for senior IT leadership
- Coordinate IT Business Office driven assignments
The minimum requirements we seek:
- High School/GED
- 7+ years of experience in program management and/or project management on medium to large-scale projects
- 3+ years using Agile practices and project management tools like Rally, Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or any others.
- Working knowledge of MS Office productivity tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Our preferred requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Skilled in the core project and program management competencies where you have been accountable for the successful planning, execution, and closure of assigned projects.
- Experience managing and coordinating large-scale programs.
- Considerable experience tracking and managing project achievements, goals, risks, and deadlines.
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience in executing RFP/RFQs
- Experience with data analytical tools (e.g Alteryx, QlikSense)
- Understanding of ITO’s organization and services
- Understanding of IT financial management processes and practices
- Strong verbal and writing skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership (LL4+) and collaborate among cross-functionally teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, approach work with a positive, can-do attitude and adapt to shifting priorities.
