Job Description
The IT Sr. Analyst – Offer Products is responsible for product managing products delivering menu items to various commerce channels such as point of sale, kiosk, mobile apps, websites, and more within the food and hospitality industry. Additionally, they will have a portfolio of products that leverage this data to enable capabilities such as barcode label printing, and product shelf tag solutions. This role will help maintain data integrity and perform system analytics across our commerce channel as well as work with a team of offshore developers, onshore analysts, and drive results in both proprietary products and 3rd party products to deliver item data across the Aramark commerce landscape. To succeed, you must possess strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, and empathy. Ability to analyze data guided by strategic thinking is critical. This position will interface with multiple teams and create a field-based user community to collaborate on product enhancements.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintains an understanding of Aramark’s business strategies & customer objectives and the applications that support it.
- Communicate with Aramark stakeholders to understand business objectives. Ask the right questions, craft solutions, and deliver validated commerce products and capabilities to help create positive business outcomes.
- Create and maintain a backlog of feature requests to meet identified needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on cross-functional and co-located product & business teams.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and review of each sprint or release cycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact with vendor partners. Own vendor relationships and coordinate discussions between Aramark stakeholders and vendor team.
- Deploy product to Aramark client accounts. Define and establish repeatable intake and deployment processes for transition to Tech Operations team when appropriate.
- Complete product documentation of a new or proposed system, front line training guides, and support knowledge articles.
- Drive the practice of collecting and analyzing data about usage, adoption, etc. to inform product direction.
- Ideate, put together business proposals, and execute against changes that will drive value to our user base. Including but not limited to new features, new products, integrations, automating workflows, etc…
- Quality Assurance testing and release management planning/execution for products within your portfolio
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the role.
Scope
- Reports to IT Manager-Commerce Offer Management
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Responsible for critical outage, release management, and level 3 support for products within your portfolio, including some nights and weekends. Estimated less than 5% of time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, information technology or related discipline
- 3-5 years of professional experience required, preferably within the foodservice industry.
- Previous experience in menu deployment, support, quality assurance or similar role preferred.
- Previous experience with POS and other hospitality technologies is highly desired.
- In-depth understanding in the areas of process development, operations, procurement, testing, systems deployment, and on-going support
- Proven ability to manage client expectations and communications, external vendors, and product deliverables.
- Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
- Experience in project management, business process analysis, or advanced business intelligence or analytics.
- Ability to express technical concepts in business language and business concepts as tech requirements.
- Employs considerable creativity, innovation, and solution design skills in performing this function
- Experience with product management capabilities a plus – i.e. menu setup for POS, Kiosk, Mobile, Web, Modifiers, self order image management, etc.
