Company Description
Reporting to the Sr. Director, RBDC & Field Sales Solutions, you will deliver enterprise technology projects including business applications and infrastructure in all governance formats: waterfall, agile, and hybrid methodologies. You will analyze our operations, determine opportunities, and recommend solutions to automate processes and tasks. Projects include web and mobile software development, IT Infrastructure, integrated ERP solutions, data warehousing, and insights reporting.
Job Description
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Control and communicate important elements of technology projects to ensure their delivery based on scope, schedule, and budget goals
Define "right-sized" project management processes for owned projects
Help forecast internal resource capacity
Estimate project costs and manage the budget (includes related scope control)
Manage external consultants and vendors contracted to the project
Find and address project risks
Define the business problem and our primary goals for new projects
Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives that use cases and process models portray specific needs.
Empathize with the relevant partners: With the support of the project team, analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed technology
Define the scope and goals of projects and establish communication channels to ensure that final deliverables of technical team meet the expectations of the end-users
Develop high-level dashboards / reports and communication processes to ensure aligned information across the project team and organization
Identify process improvement efforts
Help us define PMO processes for projects and advocate for continuous improvement of project governance practices
DELIVERABLES
Implement project methodology for technology projects in all appropriate formats: waterfall, agile/scrum, and hybrid.
Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business.
Understand and apply the attributes and processes of current project and application development methodologies.
Viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert / critical technical resource across multiple disciplines.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing IT or business projects
Expert understanding and previous experience with standard project management methodologies and delivery approaches (waterfall and agile) including the frameworks outlined by PMI and Scrum Alliance
Experience with relevant project management and communication tools (MS Project, Workfront, JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with a range of technical environments and projects, including: IT infrastructure, the software development lifecycle, cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred), database engineering, and insights reporting
Experience conducting technology market scans and facilitating vendor request for proposal exercises
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field or equivalent work experience
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is to $100,000 - $111,000 + cash incentives.
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
