What You Will Do:

In this role you will work with a team supporting a National Security client with execution of IT project management initiatives, projects, and objectives to support accomplishment of the strategic goals of the organization. The candidate will lead an integrated team to manage the project lifecycle for various IT products, from development through operations and maintenance, and ultimately retirement. The qualified candidate must have experience operating in an IT environment and must have a demonstrated ability to deliver solutions to complex program management challenges. The candidate will be required to collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups to gather information, ensure tasks are completed on time, proactively raise risks and issues, and provide reports to senior level executives.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum of Twelve (12) years experience in information systems design and management

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Ability to obtain interim secret clearance


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Experience managing projects, including cost, schedule, quality and personnel

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a variety of project environments

  • Experience working with and briefing senior level government stakeholders

  • Ability to gather or create requirements and metrics to address client questions and needs

  • Ability to lead and manage projects using the Agile framework

  • Experience managing the implementation of full lifecycle software development

  • Ability to effectively deliver written and verbal presentations in an informative and succinct manner, addressing questions and feedback professionally

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, work independently, and drive issues to resolution

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Certificates preferred: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
