Job Description
RESPEC’s Data & Technology Solutions (DTS) business unit seeks a Program Manager for RESPEC IT professional services supporting a program for the Indian Health Service. The preferred home location is Albuquerque, NM.
The successful candidate should have experience in Health IT, including Electronic Healthcare Records custom and/or COTS systems and their operations.
Designation of scope of responsibility includes serving as:
- Authorized representative for technical and administrative performance of all products and services required.
- Single point of contact that all federal contractor/government communications, work, and technical direction flow through.
- Sustain high quality partner and agency client relationships and communications, sustaining a trusted advisor relationship.
- Contributor: provide, write, coordinate with capture team on technical solutions and estimates in response to RFP’s.
- Individual acting for the Contractor for the duration of the contract or until the Contracting Officer has been notified of replacement.
- Experience and expertise needed includes technical familiarity with IT system environment and tools to develop and manage related systems and processes, including on-premise and cloud architecture and environments, server and database environment(s) management, maintenance and upgrades, DevSecOps for collaboration between development and ops teams as well as well as integration of security, monitoring tools, application and reports development, data management, and service and support ticketing system(s) for capture and tracking.
- A background of leadership in projects-based IT services, leadership of project and technical teams.
- In addition, this position requires business management skills and the ability to efficiently analyze, recommend, communicate and manage efforts, staff, teams and resources in order to provide support on demand to agency leadership.
- Review FY client needs in terms of business cases for upgrades, projects, staffing and other resources; make recommendations and provide estimates for FY plans, in support of strategic direction and requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 10 years of directly applicable federal IT program management or technically similar/related. Minimal travel may be required. Federal Public Trust Level 5 cleared preferred. Clearable required. PMP preferred. Additional certifications are a plus: e.g., CompTIA, CSM, SaFE, CISSP etc.
