IT Program Manager, Remote - United States

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex IT programs within our organization. As a Program Manager, you will be intimately involved in the planning, tracking, budgeting and delivery lifecycle of our services and portfolios. You will lead the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of programs and initiatives by collaborating across different functional areas including network engineering, system engineering, DevOps, client engineering, information security, product engineering, and IT support to ensure that IT services and projects are delivered successfully and on schedule.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with leadership skills who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. A successful candidate is an experienced natural leader and facilitator; goals-driven, organized, and diligent; is someone who excels in a data-driven approach, with a highly developed ability to foresee and handle risks and dependencies, assesses progress, and communicates with ease at all levels.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Drive project life cycle management process from concept through to ELS
• Measure, monitor, and drive progress to ensure projects and programs are delivered on time
• Develop and maintain metrics to monitor and manage critical aspects of the project cycle. Analytics are to support metrics-based decision-making by the IT Infrastructure team, including capacity planning, prioritization and roadmap planning.
• Manage expectations around delivery schedules, SLA adherence, and accountability
• Manage risks and resolve issues that affect scope, schedule, budget and quality
• Must be able to operate independently in a highly multifaceted and fluid work environment with multiple stakeholders and tight schedules
• Must have an operational understanding of Risk Management Mitigation as it pertains to Infrastructure owned security controls
• Must have a solid understanding of IT Infrastructure, including managed assets, and how strategic programs align with desired organizational outcomes and maturity targets
• Champion the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of continually improving the process in a data-driven manner
• Create and maintain the Service Delivery Roadmaps for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective development, management, and executive stakeholders
• Build dashboards and tracking metrics
• Maintain relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations worldwide
• Participate in interviewing, training, and mentoring junior project and program managers to ensure consistency and excellence in the project delivery lifecycle
• Support Director of IT Infrastructure in planning, capacity management, and budget cycles
• Lead service demand forecasting and capacity requirement distribution

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of previous program management experience
• Strong experience with IT service management processes and frameworks 
• Strong experience with IT program management methodologies
• Strong experience in running IT business continuity and risk management programs
• Solid understanding of project management principles
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
