Job Family Definition:
Responsible for business as well as team management. Also responsible for establishing and maintaining the portfolio and project management environment based upon Policies, Standards, Customer Engagement Roadmap and Global Method. May perform responsibilities as a member of an Engagement Program Management Office (EPMO) or as a business unit leader with responsibility for a portfolio of customer projects.
Management Level Definition:
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Typically reports to MG2 or Director.

Location: San Antonio, Texas
On-site work is required, 5 Days a week. Flexible start hours. Data Center hours are 6am to 6pm.
Must be flexible for after hours urgent matters
Responsibilities:
- Established people leader and program manager experience required
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of site personnel. Responsibilities include training employees, assigning and directing work, determining work schedules, monitoring and assessing work, resolving problems, and communicating necessary information on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure contract performance efficiency. Coordinate technical and administrative operations at the site to ensure timely availability of program deliverables to meet specified operational requirements and service level agreements.
- Create an environment where safety and security are prioritized in all aspects of datacenter activities. This includes physical safety measures, data security protocols, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee the various services provided by the datacenter, including overseeing spare supply chain logistics and rack delivery logistics to ensure smooth operations, and being involved in the deployment of hardware, software, or any other resources within the datacenter.
- Working closely with different customer business units to understand their requirements and ensuring that the datacenter services meet their needs. This involves effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
- Monitoring and managing service levels to meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. Set performance metrics, track progress, and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
- Regularly assess the ongoing operations within the datacenter, identifying issues or areas for improvement, and taking corrective actions to maintain or enhance operational stability.
- Reinforce quality compliance and expectations for the datacenter teams by implementing quality standards and processes, conducting training, and ensuring that teams adhere to established standards.
Knowledge and Skill Desired:
- 5+ years experience working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling)
- Certified Data Center Professional certification
- Understanding of HPE internal support processes
- Knowledge of Information Technology Service Management and ITIL
- Experience working in customer environment
- Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Jira
