IT Intern, Enterprise Solutions (Summer 2024)

Position Overview

The Novelis Corporate team is seeking an IT Enterprise Solutions Intern in the Global Functions and Enterprise Solutions IT department at our Atlanta, GA global HQ's! The person in this role will report to the Global IT Program and Portfolio Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of the Global IT portfolio of projects with respective portfolio dashboarding, creation and maintenance of relevant SharePoint sites, and ERP SAP standard documentation templates.  

 

The intern will learn about business and IT drivers for creating and managing strategic IT portfolios, along with insights of efficient collaboration in portfolio and project execution. The intern will get hands-on experience in related tools such as Accolade, ServiceNow, and SharePoint. In addition, the intern will learn about standard ERP SAP project methodologies and required documentation. 

Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

Responsibilities:

• Validate portfolio and project content.
• Manage portfolio and project key details.
• Create and maintain project templates. 
• Create and maintain information in Accolade, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and other tools. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University, GPA 3.5 
• Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation. 
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization. 
• Safety focus mentality 
• Teamwork focused. 
• Familiar with MS Office suite 
• Basic knowledge of data analytics, database management, and project management 
• Ability to learn, research, and absorb information. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computer, Information Systems, or Business major

The co-op program will begin in late May 2024 and generally lasts 3 to 8 months, encompassing one or two semesters, but may vary depending on the school and business needs.

 

Physical presence is required at the job location in Atlanta, GA to train and perform in a collaborative, learning environment.  Housing and relocation support will be provided for interns/co-ops if the school they attend, or their permanent home is beyond a commutable distance.
