What You Will Do:
 

  • Lead a small team in supporting a key executive responsible for the transformation of a large fee-for-service government organization’s IT infrastructure and engineering.

  • Manage over twenty strategic initiatives using agile techniques.

  • Leverage best practices currently employed in the private and public sectors to support the Program/Project Management Office (PMO) and portfolio management functions.

  • Ability to take initiative, build relationships, and prioritize/manage multiple tasks or activities as needed or requested to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Support the management of infrastructure initiatives, including leading some efforts but also holding others accountable (even outside of your authority)

  • Identify, document, track, and communicate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.

  • Document, track, and manage action items.

  • Define initiative visions, objectives key results, performance measures, and roadmaps with key milestones.

  • Perform research and develop strategies for new or changing initiatives.

  • Support the development and documentation of high-level process flows if/as needed.

  • Support the identification and documentation of user needs (requirements), if/as needed

  • Interface with the client on day-to-day project tasks and needs (i.e., meeting prep & follow-up, meeting minutes, action item/planning activities, etc.)

  • Support the creation of executive-level communications for both internal Guidehouse and client stakeholders.


 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience working on projects in a large organization in public/private sectors with 5+ years of experience in the IT infrastructure space

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, and Project.

  • Experience in direct client-facing roles.

  • Experience interacting and working with operational groups across the organization.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, well-organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.

  • Ability to present (verbally and in writing) technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative and proactive attitude.

  • Must currently reside in contiguous United States. Candidates within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office may be required to work a hybrid work schedule instead of 100% remote.

  • 10% to 25% travel

  • Ability to meet requirements and be issued a U.S. Public Trust

  • This position requires US citizenship.

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00-$256,100.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
