We are looking for curious and motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in the day-to-day workings of an IT support team to join us this summer as an IT Intern in our Overland Park, KS office.
Our IT intern will get exposure to user account management, hardware creation, and varying kinds of IT platforms & their functions. This would be an ideal opportunity to gain direct experience for anyone planning to apply to Helpdesk/Support Engineer job roles, which are often a direct stepping stone into broader IT careers.

Qualities we are looking for in an intern
Program Details:As an Intern at MMGY Global, you will receive hands-on work experience and get to work directly with our clients. You will be assigned a supervisor to foster your professional development and guide you throughout the 10 weeks. MMGY Global’s internships will run from June 2, 2025, through August 7, 2025. You will work Monday - Thursday in the office, up to 32 hours per week. This is a paid internship at $14 per hour.

More about our internship
- The IT Intern will assist with solving tier-one employee IT issues, such as email group creation, password resets, data upkeep, conference room audio/visual gear upkeep, and employee hardware setup
- This role will work directly with the Helpdesk Manager in Kansas City to complete an employee hardware refresh project, supplying 65 employees with replacement laptops and ensuring employees can log in to the new device without issues
- This role will interface directly with multiple levels of employees across the business
Technologies, Software and Platforms
- IT intern will be working in: Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Workspace Admin Panel), Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), MacOS, Okta, Zoom, Jamf
Qualities we are looking for in an intern
- Someone who not only has an interest in technology but in particular an interest in pursuing a career in IT
- Experience troubleshooting computer & general technology issues either on their own or in a previous internship or volunteer capacity
- Someone who has a personal history of interest in varying levels of technology, such as hobbies like: building computers, digital photography, drone flying, 3D printing, and AI/coding.
- There are no certificates or degree requirements but enrollment in a Computer Science/IT degree or certification program is preferred
