IT Business Partner

Overview

As the IT Business Partner, you will serve as a key interface between IT and assigned business units, focusing on delivering technical solutions – particularly integrations – that drive operational efficiency and strategic business value.

 

In this role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, design and document solutions, and support the delivery and ongoing optimization of integrated systems and services. You will align on business demand for IT Services and Support and contribute to IT roadmap curation, drive key projects, and ensure successful delivery of IT Services.

 

The IT Business Partner will report to Director, IT Business Partner and will interface with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, Application Development, IT Operations, vendors, and business leadership.

 

 

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and align with key stakeholders to maintain a portfolio view of IT business products and prioritize business demand for IT services • Provide thought leadership on technical service offerings, integrating with engineering and product teams, to ensure business requirements and objectives are delivered successfully.• Gather and translate business, functional, and technical requirements for agile software development and data integration teams. Develop high-level development backlog (epics, features), lead implementation plans, and propose testing and support transition. Coordinate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and development teams in designing data or application function workflows .• Lead and manage strategic technology partners and supporting technology vendors. Manages the staffing and deployment of assigned resources. • Conduct regular ongoing service reviews with the business stakeholders to ensure on-going alignment to priorities. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reporting on progress and areas for improvement.• Research and understand market trends to help provide input into the business and IT roadmaps.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:• Bachelor’s degree in business, Informational Technology, computer science, or related field.   Minimum Experience Required:• 5-8 years of experience in digital product development and healthcare technology.• 3 years as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or a similar role with a focus on delivering technical solutions• Experience designing workflows, requirements gathering, and measuring progress to target state outcomes• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum) and experience supporting development and testing activities  Preferred:• Strong background in business analysis, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and functional documentation• Experience with agile product delivery• Experience with data integration processes and technologies (e.g. Boomi, APIs, data transformations, interface specifications)• Familiarity with ITIL / Service Management  Knowledge Skills and Abilities• Experience working in teams and managing cross-functional team members of various levels experience. • Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage and interact with both technical and business users of all levels.• Ability to navigate and work in a highly ambiguous, unstructured work environment.• Knowledge in IT service design and service delivery.• Ability to frame and distill business and technology problems with a solution-oriented mindset and develop consultative, pragmatic technology-enabled solutions.• Ability to anticipate emerging trends and risks and establish preemptive mitigation.• Highly collaborative and able to solicit key inputs, data, and points of view.• Ability to write requirements, map workflows, and manage project plans.• Ability to provide delivery rigor and report scorecard / key initiative status to leadership.• Deep technical acumen in integration, reporting, and analytics technologies.  Licenses and Certifications Required:• None Preferred:• ITIL v3 or 4
