Job Summary:

This position is as an investigator within the Incidents and Accidents Unit (I&A) in DPSQA. The Unit is responsible for investigating all reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation in
long-term care facilities and home and community-based service providers. The position is responsible for managing a caseload of pending investigations, ensuring cases are fully investigated through witness interviews and collection of documentary evidence, and concluding investigations within statutory timeframes. This position is responsible for investigations and outcomes where information is placed in the Enterprise Licensing System (ELS), Employee Clearance Registry (ECR), National Practitioner Database, and works with name placement of offenders on the Child Maltreatment and Adult Maltreatment Registries. Duties include collecting documentary evidence, conducting witness interviews, and testifying during administrative hearings. This position serves as a contact person to the general public, provider community, DPSQA, and sister state agencies.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

*Valid Arkansas driver's license and the ability throughout the state

*Experience interviewing and investigation

*Case Management Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Three years’ experience conducting investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Three years’ experience with preparing and presenting evidence and testimony in administrative hearings or courtroom setting.

Experience developing and maintaining case management systems.

 Ability to compile information into report form.

Job Summary

The Investigator II is a versatile professional responsible for conducting thorough, unbiased investigations across a range of subjects—including internal compliance issues, employee misconduct, fraud, or other irregular activities. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information from varied sources in an attempt to uncover facts, recommend corrective measures, and support strategic decision-making. Whether working within the public or private sector, the Investigator II ensures that investigations are conducted with integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to pre-determined legal and organizational standards.
