Our end state is to bring on former interns full time after completing their school work.   Role This position is part of a team building a cutting edge control plane using Kubernetes to manage cloud infrastructure and clusters at scale. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with experienced professionals and develop critical skills in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.   Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure
• Contribute to code efforts, including writing and debugging code for infrastructure and platform management tools
• Participate in code reviews and testing
• Assist in documenting process, configurations and best practices
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvements

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Go, Python, C/C++)
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Strong problem solving skill and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate on a team, but execute independently
• Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with containerized technologies (e.g. Docker)
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
• Basic knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
