Your Assignment
The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installations, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customer within the specific region. This position will be based in Chandler, AZ.
- You will collaborate with customer support engineers to perform testing, analyze data, and support system maintenance
Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers
Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer
The goal of the internship is for you to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide hands on experience solving real world problems in a team environment
Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship
Your Profile
- Must be pursuing a degree in Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
- Preferred Majors: Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Micro-electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering or IC manufacturing.
- We are seeking an individual with a strong background in an engineering field
- Ability to assemble electrical equipment necessary for the system
- Create reports for tests conducted and the result
- Coordinate the material needed for the projects
- Prepare the documentation for the progress of ongoing projects
- Basic experience with mechanical analytical techniques
- Improve equipment and machines to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to derive conclusions from analysis and make practical recommendations
- Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Capability to interface with multidisciplinary groups including senior leadership
- High energy self-motivated team player with strong desire to learn
- Customer oriented and willing to work with high level problem solvers on a daily basis
- Possess strong leadership and ownership characteristics with commitment to achieve results on time

- This position is located on-site in Chandler, Arizona. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation
