Job Description: The Risk Management & Quality Assurance Manager role is responsible for ensuring that our family of companies maintains the highest quality standards and effectively manages and mitigates risk across all operations and projects. The Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining processes and procedure while implementing quality assurance and risk management strategies. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, executive leadership, corporate services, etc. to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and Strategy
- Develop and support the company's quality assurance and risk management strategies.
- Ensure alignment with corporate goals, government regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate quality and risk management into all aspects of business operations.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure continuous improvement of processes to meet or exceed client and regulatory requirements.
- Develop internal and external audits and grading, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Risk Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risks are appropriately managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that may impact risk management.
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to quality assurance and risk management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality and risk management audits and assessments by regulatory bodies.
- Team Management
- Collaborate with the internal team of professionals to support 8a companies
- Reiterate a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and proactive risk management.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and expertise.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of quality assurance, risk management or COO experience in the government contracting environment.
- Bachelor's degree in degree from an accredited University; Master's degree preferred.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) or risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP) is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing and implementing successful quality and risk management strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, CMMI, DFARS, FAR, DODI etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
