To gain valuable insight into Navy Federal's business, technology, resources and procedures by providing support in focused areas, applying knowledge and education. Participate in a collaborative, team driven network and interact with multiple departments. Receive guidance and direction from team and management. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day to day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies and procedures. This is a year-round, Full or Part -Time, flexible internship based on school schedule.

Team Overview:
The Employee Experience (EX) team is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences to improve employees' lives, enabling them to better serve our members. This team focuses on three specialized areas: User Experience guides projects from problem definition through solution development using methodologies such as Design Thinking; Process Improvement utilizes Lean Six Sigma practices to simplify and streamline processes that directly impact employees; and Employee Listening manages a robust program, including the Enterprise Employee Engagement Survey, to measure and understand the experiences of team members.

  • Provide support to assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
  • Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
  • Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
  • Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing employee experience as priority
  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support
  • Provide support in functional areas of the credit union
  • Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assists management or analysts with developing and recommending enhancements to improve operational processes and procedures
  • Assists in the development of user requirements; may test new/enhanced systems and assist in User Acceptance Testing by validating the definition of Done
  • Assists management and/or analysts in compiling, reviewing, and preparing data to be used in the analysis of operations, services, and products.
  • Prepares summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and manuals/reference materials for benchmarking purposes or for inclusion in required and ad hoc reports
  • Reviews studies, reports, and surveys and provides summaries to department leadership
  • Performs directed research; identifies and gathers data; prepares standard reports for analysis
  • Know the key metrics to be measured and how to measure it
  • Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
