We are seeking motivated, results-oriented undergrad students to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. The intern will lead various business projects with the business units that will span various functional areas such as pricing, operations, logistics and/or strategy.  

Key Responsibilities

As a Services Strategy intern, you will gain experience that includes, but is not limited to, the activities and tasks listed below:

  • Conducting market research and preparing competitive benchmarking information that leads to actionable insights
  • Performing market sizing studies and using that information to develop strategies to address areas of opportunity in the aftermarket
  • Designing and implementing voice of customer studies to build customer profiles and obtain market insights
  • Analyzing the parts portfolio, identifying areas of opportunity, and adjusting the new product development pipeline as a result
  • Building deep expertise in the services and aftermarket parts business for transport refrigeration and molding strategies for developing the "Services of the Future."
  • Developing pricing strategies to maximize the value for the aftermarket business, including digital offerings, parts, and service contracts
  • Conducting review of parts and/or service operations to drive productivity

Required Qualifications 

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in General Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field of study
  • 3.0 or higher GPA  
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
  • Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred
