Job Summary 

The Projects and Optimization Intern will support the Projects & Optimization team in improving operational efficiency, implementing process enhancements, and assisting with strategic initiatives across renewable energy assets. This role offers hands-on experience in project management, data analysis, and performance optimization within a dynamic and growing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting on ongoing projects related to asset performance and operational improvements.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Support development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and finance to ensure project alignment and execution.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Interest in renewable energy and sustainability.

Preferred Skills 

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Basic understanding of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage).
  • Experience with data analysis software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
