Intern - Materials Operations

About our group:

 

This Materials Intern position will report to the Materials Operations group at Seagate’s manufacturing site in Bloomington, MN.  Working hours for this position are primarily M-F daytime hours. As an intern you will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that provide lasting value to the Material Department and Seagate.

About the role - you will:

 

• Develop an understanding of what each application does
• Benchmark with other Seagate sites worldwide
• Research SAP existing applications
• Analyze and summarize options available with pros and cons for each
• Provide both written and oral updates to management on the progress of project
• Interface directly with other Materials staff
• Work on other Materials projects as time permits.

About you:

 

 

• Strong team player
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently when needed
• Current student pursuing a BS degree 

Your experience includes:

 

• Familiarity with databases would be helpful
• Proficient in use of MS Office programs
