What You’ll Learn

• Project Overview: Design & Implement Flow control block in a NPU
• Skills You’ll Learn:
  • Defining micro-architecture with given high level architectures
  • Implementation using Verilog
  • Logic verification using simulation tools

What You’ll Do

This intern will be working in the Advanced Controller Development lab, one of our Memory labs. They will be focused on micro architecture of a flow control block between DMA and Tensor blocks. They will also be expected to implement the logic and verify through simulation tools, as well as write micro-architecture specification, verification plan, and verification reports.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time 

Reports to: Sr. Director

• Participate in the definition of micro architecture in house NPU.
• Collaborate with other architects under the supervision of a mentor.
• Implement given logic block and verify it.
• Generate project reports.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

• Pursuing Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
• RTL language experience like Verilog, VHDL
• C++/C programing experience
• Logic design knowledge and/or experience
