Join Micron for a 3 months internship within the highly innovative Design-Technology-Co-Optimization (DTCO) team. You will have an opportunity to contribute to development of early design kits for advanced DRAM technologies.
- You will be challenged to understand how sophisticated technology leads to successful product performance and power
- You will collaborate closely with team members of the DTCO team on various tasks related to performance assessments of new technology
- You will work hands-on with advanced CMOS models and tools in the performance assessments
Responsibilities:
- Fully understand factors that impact inverter performance
- Perform layout and/or evaluation by simulation of inverter ring oscillators and other performance benchmarking circuits
- Enabling of automation for simulation and data analysis for DTCO team
Requirements:
- Course requirements: VLSI design; Semiconductor device physics;
- Nice to have courses: CMOS modeling; Advanced Semiconductor Devices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to peers
- Strong understanding of CMOS semiconductor devices
- Familiar with simulation tools HSPICE, FINESIM
- Python programming
Education
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Cannot graduate before Fall 2025
