Department

With more than 70 graphic designers, copywriters, producers, editors and photographers, the Creative Services and Photo team develops WWE’s extensive collection of global creative assets across TV, digital, social media, print and more. Producing compelling designs and campaigns that reflect WWE and our larger-than-life Superstars, the team works across WWE’s key lines of business—including Consumer Products, Global Sales & Partnership, Marketing, Live Events and Community Relations—to develop a captivating creative idea from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • There are 3 internship opportunities available within the WWE Creative Services group:

    • Photo Editing – this intern will learn and assist with cataloguing images for digital and hard copies; choosing images for various projects across all WWE platforms, and helping with editing, lighting, retouching, and color correction

    • Art Directing – this intern will learn from Creative Directors, Copywriters, and Art Directors developing creative from concept to completion; concept development, promote design and visual ideas; and partner with production on scope of work and timing of anticipated deadlines; research and stay current with WWE programs, characters, storylines, and products

    • Project Management – this intern will work across departments such as Marketing, Consumer Products, Corporate Communications, and the TV Studio to support ongoing projects. This intern will also support the work with designers to learn specs and production techniques; support projects through all phases of design, approval, and production ensuring timelines, budgets, and job specifications are met. Work with vendors to vet projects before they go to print, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues. It will be important for this intern to study and stay current on WWE programs, characters, storylines, and products.

Qualifications

  • Interested to learn a wide array of creative styles including print design, brand development, typography, illustration, and color theory; also photo and digital asset management

  • Interested and researched in design trends across industries

  • Curious, eager to learn and observe

  • Detail orientated and expert at budgeting and managing time and meeting tight timelines

  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and FileMaker Pro

  • Knowledge of any of all of the following is a plus: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Photo Mechanic, G Suite, Canto Cumulus, and Capture One

  • Proactive team player and problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities

Program Details

We offer internship opportunities across WWE, UFC, and TKO Corporate. Locations include Stamford, CT; Las Vegas, NV, and New York City. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted.

In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.

Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location.
