- Documents in writing all processes for preparation and sterilization of linen products or packs to ensure tracking mechanism is available should a problem occur.
- Evaluates product availability/quality and reports to supervisor any situations that may affect achievement of effective and efficient flow of operations.
- Performs sterilization practices, including documenting equipment performances, biological confirmation, etc.
- Ensures Sterile Pack Room is clean at all times and that all equipment is properly maintained.
- Assures sterile customer packs are properly sterilized and meet all regulatory requirements to ensure prevention and infection control standards are achieved.
