The Inside Sales Representative – New Ventures is expected to acquire and retain customers while cross-sell existing customers through consultative sales and relationship building. This position has minimal travel with most communication occurring via phone, e-mail, internet-based seminars/meetings, etc. This position is expected to sell New Ventures products/services with proficiency while receiving support on more complex sales.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet individual sales targets by following established sales processes and contributing to team goals.
- Identify and pursue leads through cold calling, follow-ups with former clients, and outreach to existing customers.
- Promote product and service offerings by educating current customers and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Support cross-functional efforts by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams on campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist prospects and customers by providing accurate product information and answering basic questions about features and benefits.
- Help prepare sales proposals and quotes, tailoring them to customer needs with guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in contract and pricing discussions, escalating complex negotiations.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including lead activity, customer information, and follow-up tasks.
- Collect customer input during interactions and share insights with the team to improve products and services.
- Engage in team projects and training sessions to enhance knowledge, support team success, and contribute to ongoing initiatives.
**Pay Range for this role is - $62,000 - $64,000
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, marketing or a related field or a combination of education and related experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of inside sales experience
Proven track record of achieving sales goals within an inside sales environment.
- Experience presenting via the web in conjunction with RVPs and Technical Sales in high pressure situations.
- Experience in education or payment industry sales (particularly with technology and service sales) a plus.

- Ability to build a strong pipeline, close new business, and expand relationships with new and existing customers.
- Highly motivated, driven, and results oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong computer skills including sales management/data management software, presentation software, web hosting applications, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Technical, with the ability to rapidly learn and understand new technologies.
- Strong follow-up skills and accuracy.
