We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inside Sales Representative to develop the rapidly growing segment of our industry in bioprocessing and cell culture. In addition, this role will support our OEM sales team with administrative and customer focused tasks.

This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth sales operations by managing customer inquiries, learning about key aspects of the microfiltration industry, processing quotes, maintaining records, and supporting sales.
This position is a great position to learn about the industry and key aspects of our business with the opportunity to develop skills in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Sales Support.
Inside Sales Key Responsibilities: (75%)
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth for cell culture and microfiltration membrane products.
  • Identify and engage with biotech, pharmaceutical, and research clients to understand their bioprocessing needs.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, customer meetings, product presentations, quoting, and closing deals.
  • Work closely with internal teams (technical support, R&D, and customer service) to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and customer relationships.
Sales Support Key Responsibilities: (25%)
  • Assist the OEM sales team with lead generation, customer follow-ups, and pre/post-sales support.
  • Process customer quotes accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing product information and assistance.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with customer interactions, sales activities, and order status.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, customer service) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to sales operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biology, BioChemistry, Chemistry or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in bioprocess sales, technical sales in filtration, cell culture media, or related bioprocessing equipment is plus!
  • 2+ years of customer service or sales support, or a position in which customer-focus was a key part of the position
  • Strong knowledge of cell culture processes, bioreactors, and microfiltration membrane technologies is a plus!
  • Proven ability to build relationships with research organizations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite) for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time to meet customers, attend conferences, and conduct site visits.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in biopharmaceutical manufacturing (e.g., GMP, FDA guideline
