As a McClain Insurance Sales Agent your role is key to our agency’s continued growth! This position will write new profitable business for our agency, by following up on leads, cultivating new business sources, cross-selling existing clients, and more.

As a sales agent, you’ll carry forward our tradition of treating clients like family and ensuring every interaction reflects the trust and warmth our agency is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of various company products, underwriting requirements, binding authority, policy forms, rating software programs, and competitiveness in the marketplace.
· Developing new business by providing accurate quotes in a timely manner, preparing proposals, completing company required forms and requests, submitting account information to the company, providing the customer with appropriate documentation, and verifying documents received from the company are accurate.
· Quoting policies through multiple companies and making recommendations that meet the client’s needs and interests
· Quoting new business and following up on leads and referrals
· Developing relationships with pre-qualified prospective customers.
· Leveraging our robust technology and processes to close sales effectively.
· Proactively engaging and networking with centers of influence to cultivate strong strategic relationships and establish a steady stream of referral prospects. Centers of influence may include mortgage brokers, realtors, financial planners and other community members.
· Utilizing your expertise to gain client trust and navigate the pros and cons of various carriers.
· Showcasing your follow-up skills to convert prospects into loyal customers. There are only two types of people, existing McClain customers and future McClain customers.
· Participating in agency-sponsored community events
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience in consultative sales or client-focused roles, demonstrating strong communication, responsiveness, and a dedication to delivering tailored solutions and outstanding service.
- Experience in insurance or financial services is helpful, but not required
· If you are not already licensed, you will be required to obtain a P&C Insurance License within 90 days of employment. Training and testing is paid for by our agency.

About Us
Compensation Package
Our generous compensation package includes:
· A professional salary commensurate with experience and opportunity to earn significant individual and team bonuses on a monthly basis
- Total average first-year earnings range from $70K to 90K through a combination of base salary, incentives and commission earnings. Starting salary is dependent on experience.
