POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Innovations Projects - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation within our attraction portfolio. You will lead and oversee various projects aimed at enhancing guest experiences, improving operational efficiencies, and driving revenue growth through new attractions and initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

Lead and manage innovation projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Attraction Pilots:

Plan and execute pilot programs for new attractions or experiences, including feasibility studies, testing protocols, and data analysis.

Evaluate pilot outcomes and make recommendations for full-scale implementation or iteration.

Vendor Vetting:

Identify and assess potential vendors and partners for attraction innovations projects.

Conduct thorough due diligence, including vendor capabilities, reputation, pricing, and compatibility with project objectives.

Attraction Assessments:

Conduct assessments of existing attractions to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.

Gather guest feedback, analyze performance metrics, and benchmark against industry standards to inform decision-making.

Network Initiatives:

Collaborate with adjacent departments effectively managing key company goals and projects.

Efficiently keep track of actions, plans, orders, and costs for such projects to report monthly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in the attractions, entertainment, or hospitality industry.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Attention: Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions to overcome obstacles in the permit acquisition process.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, or project sites as needed.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, regulations, and project priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
  • Ability to move around and position self appropriately during park onsite assessments.
