Job Description

We’re currently seeking to expand our team by adding additional Injection Operators/Technicians at our Dallas, TX manufacturing facility

Pay Rate: $29.66 / Hour

Schedule:  12-hour shifts on rotating 2/2/3 schedule
5:00 am - 5:30 pm, Day shift, Full-Time
5:30 pm - 5:30 am, Night shift, Full-Time
Shift differential paid for applicable hours worked

• Safely operate and troubleshoot Husky Injection Machines and support equipment
• Meet performance targets for Injection machines
• Ensure proper setup of Injection machines
• Monitor and adjust preform processes to optimize preform quality and correct defects including the completion of hourly quality checks
• Manage resin silo levels
• Routinely communicate with up/down stream operators to maximize line performance·  
• Maintain machine adjustment logs
• Comply with sanitation standards, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow contamination prevention and machine cleaning procedures
• Communicate with maintenance on machine performance issues and submit work requests for corrective maintenance
• Cross train and perform duties of other team members as needed
• Make & assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and rebuilds
• Drive a forklift daily
• Provide break relief for peers
• Troubleshoot and repair machine faults
• 50 lbs lifting
• Requires use of a handheld torch & face shield

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or additional technical training or certifications desired
• Prior experience operating injection machines is needed
• Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)
• Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
• Solid problem solving and decision making skills
• Comfort working in a high speed production environment
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7business operating through most weekends and holidays
• Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview
• Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are required
