Mission:

Responsible for the fulfilment of the objectives of production in terms of productivity, quality, time and costs. Manages, coordinates, directs and controls activities of the staff of the Team Lead and Line Leads, sets the daily workloads, and leads various efforts to achieve them, balanced lines, monitors the efficiency of the work carried out and controls the volume and the quality of the production. Reports to the Production Manager or Sr. Production Supervisor. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the Production Operators meet the minimum requirements for their position.

• Communicate Production and Quality Requirements to the production team members.

• Offer suggestions and improvements to the process and quality.

• Responsible for filling required production reports correctly and completely.

• Place team members in position that they are most productive and efficient for the company.

• Ensure that all Production Operators and Team Leaders are adhering to the Safety Rules and Regulations.

• Report any unsafe work conditions and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.

• Enforce the housekeeping rules.

• Complete Incident Investigation Reports as required.

• Enforce the Quality Policy.

• Responsible for ensuring the Production Operators meet the minimum requirements for their position.

• Enforce all the company’s policies and procedures. Issue discipline action when appropriate

• Report and unsafe work conditions and ensure that they are resolved in timely manner

• Enforce the housekeeping rules

• Complete incident investigation report as required

• Enforce the Quality policies.

• Responsible for helping train all production operators and team leader

• Ensure production schedules are being Ran

• Receive all production SAP/R3 paper work and verify completion                                                                                      

 

What we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred

• Must have 3+ years of related experience in supervisory role

• Multiple process/material disciplines relative to automotive manufacturing and assembly preferred

• Strong work ethic and leadership skill.

• Strong attention to detail and follow through.

• Skill and ability to train and teach others.
